Experienced Au Pair needed

A family is looking for an Au Pair for their 2 youngsters aged between 3 and 6, that has a love and passion for working with children

Working hours: Monday – Friday afternoons, working start time will be dependent on school hours.
Start date: ASAP – trial week and then after successful completion a 3 months fixed term contract that will serve as the probation period, with a permanent contract once probation has been completed.
Duties include:
- Fetching children from school in the afternoon
- Assisting with homework
- Making meals, for the children only
- Getting ready for nap time
- Putting youngest to bed/nap time
- Keep children's room tidy
- Tidy up after children's activities
- Bath time
- Organising and supervising playdates
- Transporting the children to and from extra murals / appointments / playdates, etc.
- Structured play and unstructured play
Requirements:
- Female
- Aged 25 to 45 years
- Must have Matric
- Experience working with children as young as 2 years old
- Must have a passion for children and understand sibling dynamics
- Must have a minimum of 12 months of full time Au Pair experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
- Must have their own, reliable, relatively new model car
- Minimum 4 years driving experience.
- At least 2 contactable childcare references.
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Good at activating and motivating children
- Reliable and stable
- South African ID
- Valid South African Passport
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 3 months
Salary: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Gardens, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
