Global Paint Upgrade Sales Support Specialist for Europe

In this role you will be responsible to support technically all Local Business Units in Europe for any paint upgrade project, work closely with the Production Development Platforms (PDP) to secure the delivery of all paint upgrade equipment on time, manage all special (non-standard) projects, prepare offers with respect to the order revenue and gross margin target, and take ownership of paint upgrade projects. The role reports to the global Paint Upgrade manager. The location of the role is flexible within Europe.

Your responsibilities

  • Execute the global system and application service strategy for our product portfolio with focus on paint upgrade
  • Be the driver of growth for the business to reach the defined target in the region
  • Support all Local Business Lines commercially and technically in Europe for paint upgrade projects
  • Visit customers in Europe with local teams and generate technical solutions.
  • Communicate with PDPs for paint upgrade kit production and delivery time
  • Handle and manage all non-standard paint upgrade projects
  • Drive continuous improvement of product at all times. Ensure a good cooperation with production and R&D
  • Take the lead to solve major problems. Structure and drive the right actions and manage professional communications with all stakeholders including senior customer management

Your background

  • Approx 10 years of business experience, in robotics paint domain.
  • Full technical understanding of the robotics paint process especially in the automotive sector.
  • Proven commercial savvy with experience of developing sales or increasing wallet share with customers.
  • Capable of problem solving issues and able to communicate in an effective manner that drives corrective actions.
  • Strong strategic- and technical competence, combined with strong communication skills.
  • Good written and spoken English language skills. Other languages are useful.
  • Ability to work across multiple functions and geographies/cultures in Europe.
