Description and Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the product team in the design process from concept generation to final production, ensuring innovative and competitive product design solutions.
- Create 2D or 3D sketches, renderings, and 3D models to visualize and communicate design concepts.
- Develop detailed product specifications, including materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes, in collaboration with the CMF team.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Work closely with engineers to ensure the manufacturability and functionality of these designs
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in the field of industrial design with an impressive portfolio, Mobile phone design is a plus
- Skilled with hand sketching or digital sketching, excellent 2D and 3D skills (Particularly Pro-E, KeyShot and Adobe In Design)
- Ability to create photorealistic renderings.
- Basic knowledge of the design process from concept design and design strategy to concept development and manufacturing execution.
- Ability to multi-task many projects and products at once. Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to think critically about design challenges
- Basic knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling methods, and assembly methods.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial / Product design.
