We are recruiting for a Tender Excellence Manager EMEA. This role will report to the Commercial Excellence Director EMEA and is part of the EMEA leadership team.


As Tender Excellence Manager you will drive the further implementation of our new process and way of working for Contracts & Tender Excellence (CATE). You will lead, coach and support the tender managers across EMEA and ensure an aligned way of working for tenders and contracts in EMEA. In this role you will closely collaborate with the EMEA Business Area key stakeholders to secure the sales and business impact of tender excellence.


Location: remote within EMEA


Key Accountabilities

  • Drive harmonization of Contracts & Tender processes across EMEA
  • Secure the process implementation via the CATE system
  • Close engagement with the Business Directors across all Business Areas
  • Dotted line leadership of Tender Managers across EMEA
  • Alignment of day to day activities of Tender teams
  • Senior stakeholder management through the global CATE steering committee
  • Continuous improvement of tools and processes, share best practices across markets
  • Establish KPIs linked to Contracts & Tender excellence
  • Change management and project management

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in business administration, legal or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5-8 years in tender management excellence
  • Well versed in public purchasing code and know-how of the healthcare / medical devices industry
  • Strong people management skills: building and leading cross-functional, international teams
  • Proven project and change management: confident in communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Expert in stakeholder management
  • Problem solving and analytical mindset with strong organizational skills
  • Fluency in English and working IT knowledge (basic SAP, salesforce)
  • Prepared to travel within EMEA to support project implementation
