PeopleCert
is looking for a Digitalization & Cataloguing Trainee who will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and cataloguing learning content (focused on business and IT skills) based on a taxonomy developed by PeopleCert's Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This role involves working closely with the SMEs and collaborating with the team to ensure accurate and efficient analysis of content. The candidate must have excellent command of English, strong organizational skills, and high attention to detail.


As a Digitalization & Cataloguing Trainee, your tasks will include the following:

  • Collaborate with PeopleCert’s SMEs to analyze content items according to the established taxonomy
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in the analysis process, paying close attention to details and maintaining high standards.
  • Contribute to the digitalization of material using IT tools such as OCR software, Adobe, and MS Suite
  • Organize and manage physical and digital files and documents effectively
  • Maintain an understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), Project Management and/or other methodologies and principles, based upon training provided by PeopleCert
  • Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet project milestones
  • Adapt to a changing environment and follow instructions from supervisors
  • Adhere to, and implement the procedures, policies and work instructions as per the
  • Ensure their work and presence is aligned with company’s values “Quality - Passion - Integrity - Innovation” at all times PeopleCert’s Integrated Management System


What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Journalism, English literature or a related field
  • Previous administrative experience, familiarity with publishing, ITSM methodologies, Project Management or intellectual property concepts will be considered an asset
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
  • Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, & time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High level of professionalism and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Well organized, strong teamwork approach and team motivator, self-driven, flexible and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
