About the role

Getinge Academy is responsible for development and delivery of global training courses and programs supporting the Getinge strategy and priorities. We are on an important journey to optimize our training. This requires new ways to develop learning solutions that ensure:

To be part of this continuous journey, we are looking for a Training Portfolio Manager (TPM) to be responsible for developing training packages and programs for products within the Surgical Workflows (SW) Business Area. Surgical Workflows products cover Sterile Reprocessing, Operating Room, and Digital Health Solutions (software). You will be part of a team of TPMs within the Academy Center of Excellence SW and be responsible for the Digital Health Solutions (DHS) technical training portfolio.


You will work closely with senior leaders, product managers, subject matter experts, global lead trainers and regional training delivery managers, as well as the rest of the Academy team, and report into the Senior Training Manager of CoE SW.


Possible locations are any of our DHS Getinge sites, preferably in Denmark, Sweden, and Germany.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the training packages in the DHS technical training portfolio
  • Design, develop, and maintain internal staff and customer training packages and concepts in close collaboration with the SW/DHS Business Area (product managers, subject matter experts, and Global Lead Trainers)
  • Scope and project manage the overall development and updating of training packages, including communication with stakeholders, SMEs and instructional designers
  • Approval of trainer candidates in agreement with their line manager and responsible Regional Training Delivery Manager
  • Overall responsible for ensuring availability of product specific certification of new trainers
  • Overall responsible for planning and coordination of global CoE training delivery
  • Manage overview of subject matter experts within the SW/DHS business area
  • Coordinate the DHS global lead trainers
  • Manage overview of DHS certified local trainers
  • Support product launch process with creation and execution of training on the new product

Your experience includes:

  • Minimum of 3 years education within the fields of teaching, business, communication, IT, or other relevant fields
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience with training creation and execution or other kinds of pedagogical communication
  • Good knowledge within learning and development techniques, trends, and research
  • Experience with Microsoft programs, Learning Management Systems and/or other learning technologies
  • Experience in project management, on-line training development and training on medical devices (or other regulated industry). Knowledge about the SW/DHS product area is an advantage


You have an outgoing personality, confidence, and a professional presence in public speaking and training situations – live and virtually. You are a passionate learner and a strong team player, who thrives well with responsibility. You have a good ability to drive projects on your own and you are fully proficient in English.
