We have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Data Entry Administrator to join our Transactions Services Group (TSG), based in our Abbotsford Melbourne office. The Transactions Services Group (TSG) are responsible for receiving, scanning, validating and processing of roughly 2.2 million transactions every year. Transactions range from general shareholder registry maintenance to allocation or transferring of shares, management of deceased estates and overseas tax processing for dual-listed clients. The group also manages corporate action processes and bulk upload transactions. Transaction Services Group (TSG) manage operational requests for Computershare’s registry clients, membership-based clients and internal stakeholders where required. The team has a base of 80 staff year-round. In our peak period (September – December annually) this number can grow to 100 full-time employees.

A role you will love

Reporting to a Team Leader, the Data Entry Administrator is responsible for data processing, responding to customer requests in writing and quality assurance of data and processing in internal systems. This includes checking requests and supporting documents thoroughly.

The administrator will be integral in the handling of all aspects of shareholder interactions, ranging from administrative duties and data entry to project work and manual tasks.

Some other key responsibilities:

  • Ensure data and documentation entered in the system are processed in line with business rules and compliance requirements
  • Validate documentation received with request, this includes checking acceptable transaction criteria, cheque validation, and quality assurance of document
  • Liaise with stakeholders to complete tasks within agreed timeframes
  • Compliance with internal procedures and policies
  • Participate in team events & meetings and assist other teams where required

What will you bring to the role?

You will be required to have a keen eye for detail as well as handle high volumes of requests on a daily basis.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Proven high attention to detail
  • Experience working in a fast-paced high volume back-office environment
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders
  • Capable of working in a team environment and autonomously
  • Experienced in deceased estate documentation is desirable
