- Take responsibility for the strategy for the tax area on Group level, across various markets in which the company operates.
- Develop and implement tax strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize the company's tax liabilities, maximize tax incentives, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations across all markets.
- Provide oversight and guidance on matters related to tax across all jurisdictions.
- Liaise with teams within the Finance area, especially Tax Accounting, on issues related to that field.
- Act as the primary contact for international and local tax authorities, managing relationships, and collaborating on tax inquiries, examinations, and disputes.
- Work closely with Senior Management, Finance, and Legal teams to provide tax advice on business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border issues.
- Manage and further develop a team of tax professionals across various locations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and professional development.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practices, and proactively communicate their impact on the company's operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and maintain transfer pricing policies and documentation, ensuring compliance with OECD guidelines and local country regulations.

- Significant experience within the tax area, including several years in leading the whole tax function. Alternatively - experience in tax advisory in the Big 4 on Director or possibly Senior Manager level.
- Experience in a managing taxes in an international organization, including on a regional or global level.
- Master degree in Law or Economy.
- Successful track-record in leading teams focused on achieving goals and collaboration.
- Strong technical knowledge of relevant tax laws (including local regulations and international rules, transfer pricing).
- Experience in tax transformation and tax automation projects, including utilizing tax technology, will be a strong asset.
- Ability to combine tax functional knowledge, tax automation and business acumen identify, develop strategies, and reduce any tax risks with the help of auditors and external advisors.
- Experience in dealing with tax authorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Very good English and Polish skills are a must.
