Job summary: Properly package product as specified by the customer.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Inspect pillows to ensure that they are clean and they meet quality standards.
- Reject product not meeting quality standards.
- Ensure that there is no debris inside and out of product.
- Ensure that all products are filled properly according to specification.
- Read and follow customer BOM
- Properly package product using the BOM specifications.
- Ensure proper labeling of product prior to being placed inside of box.
- Ensure that product is properly sealed according to BOM specification.
Minimum requirements:
- No experience required
- Good hand and eye coordintaion
- Safely identify and operate tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must work well with your hands
- Requires a high degree of work ethic.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision .
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
Competencies: Ability to identify errors, ability to follow written instruction, ability to problem solve, able to work with little to no supervision; ability to keep up with production throughput.
Work Environmental & Physical Demands : Although our warehouse is well lighted and well ventilated, the air may contain dust and particles from the materials used in the trade. Warehouse may also be noisy from machinery and air hoses. Employees may receive minor cuts and scratches when working with sharp tools and rough surfaces. May work overtime during peak seasons and may also be slow periods with little work to no work. Will perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs, and moving your whole body, such as lifting, reaching, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
While performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to :
Stand, reach with hands and arms, use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
Using hands and arms in handling, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
