Orderlies facilitate the effective day-to-day operation of the hospital by maintaining consistent non-patient and patient transport standards and processes and delivering high levels of customer service at all times consistent with the vision and values of the Waitematā District.
Candidates ideally will have previous experience working as an orderly within a hospital environment, but if you have the skills listed below you should apply:
The ideal applicants will have the following:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technical Knowledge
- Skills associated with the orderly role
- Customer service skills
Successful applicants must be able to:
- Demonstrate ability to access and use smart phone systems.
- Deliver compassionate service to patients and whānau that is aligned to Policies and Guidelines set by Waitematā District and Mana Whenua
- Always maintains professional presentation
- Be physically fit
Please note if you are successful you must complete the NZQA Level 3 Orderly qualification.
