Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on young minds?
Longfield Academy are currently seeking an experienced AIM Support Assistant to join our team in Cashel, County Tipperary. The role is based on the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM). It benefits children who may be struggling in the preschool model. AIM is a strength-based model and not an SNA model, however some children will require one to one care.
You will assist in the development, coordination and implementation of varied activities to support inclusion in the preschool environment.
Minimum level 6 in childcare or similar qualification.
-Knowledge of Aistear & Siolta framework and the emergent interest curriculum
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to be flexible with both working hours and ages group.
-Engage positively with children, families & colleagues
-Comply with TUSLA & HSE regulations
-Salary in line with experience
Additional experience and qualifications are highly desirable. Garda Vetting (and International police clearance if having lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months) will also be required.
