As North America Logistics Senior Finance Analyst, your role will be to:
  • Contribute to the North America Logistics Organization financial performance.
  • Support strategic decisions with financial insights.
  • Support the development of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
  • Manage risks and opportunities and provide performance insights.
  • Maintain a strong internal control & compliance environment.
  • Simplify our reporting and decision-making processes by developing new digital tools.
Which team will you join?
  • Day to day partner to the Finance Logistics Manager and reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Director.
  • Interact with multiple functions and coordinates the flow of information between multiple levels of management.
  • Effectively work with numerous members of finance community and other functions within Diageo
What will you need to succeed in this role?
  • Good accounting, planning, reporting, analysis, and controls understanding.
  • End to end Supply chain and cost accounting understanding.
  • Building and using relationships across different functions and geographies
Concretely, below are some examples of your results:
  • Hold financial review meetings with logistics partners and generate new cost saving ideas.
  • Support the Finance team for accurate and timely monthly financial close, critical metric and Business reporting.
  • Manage the accuracy and data integrity of the B/S and P&L. Ensures strong financial control.
  • Provide strong business partnering support to help drive decision making process with financial oversight.
  • Ensure the ability to connect transactional details to decision support required to drive cost savings.
Which skills and experience are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, 2 years of financial and accounting experience
  • .Strong systems expertise and SAP knowledge
  • Excellent leadership, analytical and planning skills.
  • Proven ability to distill out complex business issues, provide logical and clear plans for action.
  • Skills and ability to lead and influence organizational change.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
