We are looking for a tutor to deliver quality teaching and learning with in the residential child care sector .

This specific role is not for a trainee
Main purpose of role: To plan, teach and assess apprenticeship subjects

Key responsibilities:
- Teaching apprenticeship subjects within specified subject areas to learners across 16-18 and older age groups
- Working to current timeframes and supporting learners to commit to learning milestones
- Ensuring learners are supported to use Aptem (or similar) and recording marking and interactions within the platform
- Undertaking assessments within agreed timeframes and recording outcomes
- Ensuring breaks in learning are at a minimum, being proactive to identify these and act upon them
- Working with your Curriculum Lead on course content and delivery
- Working with Curriculum Lead and Curriculum Quality colleagues to ensure consistency and quality of teaching and assessing
- Monitoring career development of learners and ensuring Off The Job (OTJ) work is undertaken and appropriately documented on time
- Work with sector specialists to develop high quality resources for careers advice and guidance (IAG)
- Record all interactions with learners and employers in a timely manner to meet evidence requirements
- Meet all standards for quality of service, safeguarding, information and data security, and any other relevant compliance requirements
- Represent and promote the company in a professional manner working effectively with other agencies and interna and external stakeholders
- Attend company meetings and training and liaise effectively with staff at all levels
- Ensure adherence to the company’s equalities and diversity policy and actively embed equality and diversity into careers advice
- To maintain relevant records in a timely and accessible way
- To present a professional image at all times.

- To liaise effectively with other relevant individuals across the business in a collegiate way
- Any other duties as may be required that are relevant to the role

Salary: £22,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
