The current position is looking for Male Graveyard Healthcare Care Coordinator for their Gender specific Detox and residential facility.
Compass Recovery is seeking to hire a qualified RADT or MA/CNA Care Coordinator specifically looking to be a team member motivated to support those struggling with chemical dependency and mental health. This is a very rewarding position as our team sees lives change and a foundation is built.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Admission/intakes
- Property Searches
- Prepare for Discharges and inventory
- Documentation/End of Shift reports
- Facility Grounds Check
- Cleaning Common Areas
- Prepare house for AM shift
- Detox assessments - CIWA and COWS as ordered
- Vitals, pill counts, refills, monitoring telehealth, observations and monitoring client self administration of medications
- Transportation of clients if needed higher level of care/hospitalization
- Crisis intervention
- Office and computer work - chart audit and scanning
- Monitor and assist clients throughout the night, if unable to sleep
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- CNA/MA or RADT
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of 12 step Recovery, Refuge, celebrate recovery, and general knowledge of addiction
- Minimally 1 year sober for individuals in recovery
- One year of experience in a detox and working with Substance use disorder and mental health clients.
- Ability to prioritize and perform with minimal direction
- Computer literate and ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally with clients, administration, the treatment team and family members
- Certification in First Aid/CPR - able to obtain prior to start date.
- TB tested within 1 year - able to obtain within 7 days of hire
- Clean DMV record and/or meet criteria in accordance with Company insurance policy requirements.
- Valid California Driver's License.
