Our client is a well-respected international trading platform provider focussed on institutional clients – they have established their EU HQ in Amsterdam and are seeking a Lead Compliance Officer to take responsibility for Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance obligations for their Dutch entity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the relationship with local regulators including regular reporting and responding to requests for information
- Prepare and present reports for Board/EXCO and Committee levels
- Manage junior team members
- Advise all areas on the business on all compliance matters, driving a strong culture of value-add compliance
- Update, implement and provide ongoing review of compliance policies and the framework
- Manage and conduct compliance monitoring reviews
- Manage and actively review compliance surveillance polices and breaches.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience of regulatory compliance within a capital markets environment
- Working knowledge of trade surveillance practices and systems
- Knowledge of FinCrime Compliance is preferred
- Dutch language skills are advantageous but not a prerequisite – the working language of the business is English
