Job description
As a Frontend Developer you will be an active business partner by supporting different business units within IKEA Supply. You, together with the Data & Analytics team, will be a great contribution to the data democratization within IKEA Supply by designing and co-creating reporting packages, supporting the business to convert complex and large data sets to visualize insights.
More specifically, in this role you will be accountable for:
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts, transforming data into analysis to present it through reports, supporting decision-making.
- Create measures and connected visualisation, documenting data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations.
- Acts as an ambassador for a performance culture, works to enhance business understanding in the unit.
- Drive continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing of methodologies and good practices across the IKEA Data and Analytics Community.
In this role you will report to our Data & Analytics Manager at IKEA Supply.

Qualification

You have some years of working experience from data analysis, where you´ve derived conclusions and consequences out of information and have helped the organisation to make new insights and better decisions. Of course, your analytical skills are excellent, and you are able to see the big picture as well as the details and can structure information in a good way.
- Skills in Power BI creating data-rich dashboards, implementing Row-level Security (RLS), writing DAX expressions, developing custom BI products with scripting and programming languages such as R, Python, etc.
- Proven experience with Data Catalogue, Data Lineage and Data Quality.
- Well understanding of Identity and Access Management practices.
- Ability to understand the end-user’s everyday life at work and good at reading between the lines, i.e. challenge and identify business needs and have the ability to see what’s hidden in the requirements.
- You have experiences of Azure services and knowledge in SQL.
- You are familiar with data models, able to evaluate the performance of the report and cooperate with the team members to find the best solution.
- Present business information in a simple way to maximize the UX, based on the established design framework.
- Willingness to always strive for improvement and to have great motivation to learn new things.
- Good knowledge of IT and digital organizations, strategies and working methods.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- QSENSE competences in development are a plus.
