We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to work remotely anywhere in the Philippines for a Singapore-based client of OTA. For this job, we only process candidates that are based in the Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

Purpose
As a Data Engineer, you'll be a critical part of our Data Science team, responsible for improving data reliability, accuracy, and quality. You'll design and deploy data engineering applications, build highly scalable data streaming platforms, and closely work with our data team to deliver high-quality data solutions. What You'll Be Doing
- Handling data modeling for data warehouses and data marts.
- Constructing large-scale processing ETL pipelines.
- Building data engineering applications on cloud based platforms
- Building a highly scalable data streaming platform for real-time high-volume message processing and analysis.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop tools, frameworks, and automated data reports.
What Youll Need to Be Successful
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, Airflow, Azure Data Lake, SQL.
- Experience with big data tools, concepts, and techniques.
- Familiarity with data stacks using CI/CD tools and Docker.
- Experience with schedulers like Airflow.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach.
