For our German Supply Chain team, we are searching for a Logistics Specialist focused on organizing and executing of the logistics (inbound and outbound).
Reporting to the local Supply Chain Manager and with a dotted line to the global Logistics Manager you will be empowered with the task of planning and managing logistics, transportation, and customer services, realizing on time delivery while keeping the logistics costs down.

Responsibilities:- Operationally plan and manage logistics, transportation, and customer services
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Liaise and negotiate with forwarders and logistics partners
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Plan routes and process shipments
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance
- Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
- Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations
Proven working experience as a Logistics Specialist in similar role- Record of successful distribution and logistics operations, knowledge of HS Codes and Incoterms
- Proficient in standard logistics and inventory management software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Education in logistics, supply chain, or relevant field
- Fluent in German and English (company standard language)
- Customer-oriented, pro-active, and willing to take responsibility
- Positive ‘Can-Do’ attitude, high energy, strong interpersonal and communication skills
