General Surgery Booking Administration team schedule and manage
clinics for approximately 26 SMO - s and support staff. Every day in General
Surgery is different with administration staff assisting the SMO and Nursing
team to manage/book outpatient clinics that will be held in the Christchurch
Outpatient Building.
We - re
looking for an amazing person whose personality is welcoming and friendly. If
you can prioritise multiple work tasks, enjoy working in a high functioning
team, and have a passion for arranging administration tasks for our patients we
would like to hear from you. Our ideal candidate will have an eye for detail,
and once you understand the tasks and systems can be self-directed, making this
role your own.

Administration

This
role requires the following:Essential:
- Excellent customer service skills - people
applications/systems * Excellent organisational, time management and
problem-solving skills * Ability to achieve accuracy and maintain
attention to detail * Ability to meet deadlines and work
unsupervised * A team player * Intermediate to advanced user in the Microsoft
suite of products e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel * Excellent keyboard skills * High level of written and verbal communication
skills * Demonstrated perceptiveness and a proactive
approach in an administrator role.
Desired:
- Broad administrative experience in a
(including the patient management system) * Awareness of people of differing cultural
