The project consists of:
- An artificial energy island (with offshore transmission infrastructure)
- Multiple AC substations at 66kV & 220 kV
- 6x 220kV AC export cable systems of ~50 km each
- HVDC connection (1 converter offshore, 1 converter onshore, HVDC cable system) between the artificial island and the new onshore substation of the Ventilus project
- Possibility to connect future HVDC interconnectors
As part of the project team:
- You are a safety leader, continuously looking for safety enhancements
- You ensure timely delivery as well as quality and safety of your assigned tasks
- You seek out opportunities to bring additional benefit to the project
- You report pro-actively and regularly regarding status and progress of your responsibilities
- You can independently manage and implement specific work packages and engage with relevant contractors, authorities and internal experts where required.
Hard skills and soft skills:
- You have at least 5 years of working experience in the offshore sector
- You have a Masters in Engineering
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You are organised and results-oriented
- You can work in an international project environment

Duration: Start ASAP - 31/05/2025
Working hours:
- Full time
- Main office in with site visits before and during project execution
- On a regular basis in the main office or on site (e.g. on average 2 days per week)
- Preferably a permanent resident in Belgium
- Possible need for short business trips to contractors, vendors etc.
