ABOUT THE JOB
Position: Server
Terms of Employment: Part time and Full time. Candidates must be flexible and have the ability to work variable shifts including days, evenings, nights and special events.
Job Duties:
- Provide an outstanding dining experience for our patrons
- Must have an extremely professional rapport with clientele, be well-spoken and easy to communicate with
- Anticipate guest needs
- Work well and closely with all other team members
- Accurately record and enter all food and beverage items into POS system
- Ensure tables are cleared and reset before a patron is seated
- Must develop extensive knowledge of the menu to be able to comment on ingredients, suggest items and explain cooking techniques.
- Must develop extensive knowledge of wine and liquor as well as any other beverages and techniques utilized by Royal Exchange.
- Address patrons appropriately when discussing their comments and concerns.
- Effectively communicate with Supervisors if a customer issue arises. Ensure clear and concise communication with the patron to ensure the issue is being resolved.
- Follow all company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS
- Must have Proserve certification and be at least 18 years of age.
- Outgoing personality
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with clientele
- Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, high volume restaurant is required
- Bartending skills
