Job Description
We are looking for natural leaders with strong project management skills. In this role, you must be comfortable engaging customers regularly, multi-tasking, and have excellent time-management skills. You will be expected to be performing this role on a full-time basis, and will be working on shifts. The role reports to the Manager of Digital Forwarding.
A DAY IN A LIFE
As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
Be the key liaison with customers and on-board them into our digital freight forwarding platform, this includes coaching them on how to conduct repeat orders on our digital platform
Develop and maintain a good working relationship with our customers, this incl. regularly engaging and sharing our new products / solutions with them
Manage the backend setup and registration process for customers, this incl. alerting relevant teams e.g.: finance, technology, pricing, operations etc. on their onboarding and start date of operations
Coordinate the execution of operations across multiple leading teams, this includes engaging the customers regularly with updates and ensuring all cross-functional teams are fully aware on the progress of delivery shipments
Work closely with our team of internal customs officers, ensuring that customs declaration and documentation processes are executed accurately and in a timely manner
Develop a deep understanding of the freight forwarding industry, understanding who the various key players are and what the key customs regulations, import/export duty rules etc. are
Manage the implementation of small to medium-scale roll outs; ensure engagement and clarity in communications across 1-2 functional groups e.g.: air operations, delivery operations, customs, technology teams

SKILLS
These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:
Possess KEK license / familiarity with the customs declaration process
Excellent time management
Strong interpersonal skills - confident engaging customers
Strong project management skills
Naturally technology inclined - comfortable navigating different technology applications
