What is the opportunity?
This is an excellent opportunity for an expert Security Engineer to provide support to the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and help optimize the invest across Microsoft technologies! You will also provide support across several areas:
- Troubleshooting of Microsoft technologies
- SME input across architecture and engineering considerations
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for optimisation of core system considerations for E5 technology, whilst coordinating and assisting with integration release deployments. Spending time solving issues relating to MS security product offerings.
- Identifying improvements to the security configurations across the MS technology ecosystem
- Quality control and improvement of security service
- Lead DevOps and DevSecOps pipeline optimisation
- Add SME recommendations to architectural and engineering review
Crucial Skills & Experience
Experience & Certification using and/or deploying Microsoft Security tools (e.g. MS Defender Suite, Azure Services and Sentinel)
- Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft product environment, including Active Directory and Windows operating systems
- Proficiency across a number of programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, C family, OS shell scripting such as Powershell, Bash.)
- Solid understanding of KQL
What will make you stand out?
Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not vital in order to apply for this role;
- Information Security certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, CSSLP or relevant SANS
- Microsoft Expert certification (preferable)
