Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:


The Regulatory Stewardship branch is responsible for supporting an uplift in MBIE’s ability to design and deliver quality regulation. The branch works with many teams across MBIE and the broader public service.

The Personal Assistant/Team Administrator role is responsible for providing efficient and effective support to two of the managers in the branch, as well as the wider branch. We offer flexible working opportunities, a wide variety of work, and enjoy giving our people what they need to shine.


We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of experience and achievement in providing personal and administrative support to managers and teams
  • Highly organised with the agility to support multiple teams and respond to changes in priorities
  • Diary management and competent user of Outlook, Microsoft office and other business systems (finance, HR)
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive working style, strong initiative and sound relationship management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to prioritise work to achieve MBIE outcomes
  • Must have legal right to live and work in NZ
