W.R. Davis Engineering Limited (Davis) is a dynamic mid-sized company specializing in the design of infrared (IR) signature solutions for both naval and aerospace platforms. Davis performs ground-up design, development and manufacturing at our Ottawa, Canada facility. More background may be found at www.davis-eng.com.
Daily Tasks include:
- Assist with metal forming rollers
- Assist with fitting of metal pieces
- Assist welders as required
- Maintain cleanliness of shop
- Hand tools power tools asset
- Assist with passivation of completed metal fixtures
- Trained as fork lift driver (an asset)
- Obtain and maintain Controlled Goods Clearance (through Davis)
- Other related duties as required
Knowledge & Requirements:
- Familiar with metal working hand tools, grinding, sanding, and drilling
- Must have physical strength
- Hand-eye coordination and endurance
- Laborers must be able to concentrate on their tasks
- Work as a member of a team
- The ability to understand and communicate information
- Strong desire to learn new skills
- Work within company Health & Safety requirements

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
