Job Descriptions:
- Drive logistic sales and business development in the Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, and Warehousing fields.
- Build a high-performing Business Development team capable of delivering both short-term and long-term results in South East Asia and Australia.
- Formulate a national supply chain strategy to position Samsung SDS as a top-tier logistics company in the region.
- Lead a team of freight sales professionals and collaborate with procurement experts to achieve outstanding performance and results.
- Collaborate with carriers for Air & Ocean freight to secure competitive prices and stable space.
- Achieve sales targets in both Air & Ocean segments.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. (Equivalent combination of work experience and education considered.)
- Proficient in English (Advanced level), knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- At least 15 years of experience in the logistics industry.
- Preferably with work experience in a global logistics company.
- Strong business development and sales capabilities.
- Proficiency in Air & Ocean freight procurement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of overall logistic business, including Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, and Warehousing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in sales and procurement.
- Extensive network in the South East Asia and Australia's local transport, air, and ocean industries.
- Ability to work well under pressure when needed.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
