Intelligent manufacturing and Industry 4.0 require innovative Automation Technology. We look for young R&D talent to develop future automation in modeling, control, optimization, and autonomy.

Responsibilities
1. Innovation in new automation technology in modeling, advanced control, optimization.
By integrating mathematical models with real time measurements, automation system can get full knowledge of the industrial equipment and process. Parameter optimization and self-learning technology is then applied to improve the efficiency and productivity, which is implemented by intelligent control strategies in controller or Edge devices.
2. Development of autonomous system and control software.
Autonomous decision and control will enable production process to be fully automated without human interference, which is a key target of Intelligent Manufacturing in the industry.
3. Presentation and business development of innovative concepts.
Transfer your innovative automation ideas and prototypes into products and solutions, which will greatly improve production intelligence and reduce carbon footprint.

Qualifications
1. Master+ degree in Automation (control engineering) or Mechatronics. Ph.D. preferred.
2. Experience in industrial automation: motion control (inverter, servo control system) or process control (e.g., biochemical, petrochemical).
3. Software development skills for industrial control applications: e.g., model development, condition monitoring and diagnostics, advanced control, industrial edge and data analytics. Programming skills in two of Python, C++, Java, Matlab.
4. Basic skills of applying AI for automation and intelligent manufacturing is preferred, including machine learning and optimal control.
5. Basic knowledge in project management.
6. Good English and presentation skills.
