We are looking for you
Product Owner, Transportation Management System
to join our Operational Excellence team in the Renewable Platform, Logistics and Operations in Espoo, Finland or Hoofddorp, Netherlands.
Our Operational Excellence team is composed of process and project management experts with the purpose of driving process development, quality, compliance and continual improvement within global Supply to Pay, Order to Cash and Manage Logistics processes. In addition, the team drives productivity, and process automation across Logistics & Operations organisations globally. We are also responsible for process related capability development, portfolio and project management.
You will work closely with TMS local key users, relevant internal stakeholders, LSP’s, Neste ICT and external system vendors to ensure smooth operations and continual improvement.

Your role in creating a sustainable future
- TMS Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a compelling vision and strategy for the Transportation Management System, aligning it with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage TMS Development Roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams, to define and prioritise the TMS development roadmap, ensuring it addresses strategic needs and delivers maximum value.
- Act as a link between IT and business stakeholders to turn business needs into actionable development plans and secure smooth implementation.
- Lead the Global Key User Network and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- TMS Documentation: Create and maintain TMS documentation, including user guides, and training materials. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- TMS and Process Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse key TMS and process metrics. Identify areas for improvement and propose corrective actions as necessary. Escalate reported issues to external vendors when needed.
- Continual Improvement: Foster a culture of continual improvement by actively seeking feedback from stakeholders, conducting retrospectives, and implementing process enhancements to increase process efficiency and quality.

- Experience in TMS systems and logistics processes
- Experience in different transportation modes (truck, rail, multimodal)
- Ability to combine business and technical skills in order to get the highest possible value from investments
- Ability to understand the big picture and turn that to the actionable development road map
- Continual improvement mindset
- Ability to link business process with everyday operations
- Ability to clearly and effectively articulate plans and recommended actions
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Experience or willingness to work in an international context
- A degree in logistics, business management, other suitable field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
We also value
- Knowledge of SAP IS-OIL and/or Blue Yonder TMS
- Special understanding of different regions (APAC, Americas, EMEA) local transportation modes
