Global Freight Sales - Assistant Manager (Ocean/Air/Logistics/3PL) [Singapore]

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving sales targets through promoting the Company’s Forwarding (and 3PL would be advantageous) services to existing and potential customers in assigned customers portfolio
  • Maintaining business relations with customers for fostering profitable sales
  • Identifies new business opportunities, assesses customer needs, and matches these with Company’s services to acquire new business
    • Prepare weekly/monthly updates on pipelines and target achievement and review of opportunities and business plan
  • Achieving and monitoring of customer’s KPIs & initiatives to ensure we deliver quality, reliability, scalability, productivity to meet customer satisfaction
  • Act as the customers’ main point of contact, by liaising closely with internal departments to ensure that their queries, problems or issues are dealt with appropriately, and provide excellent services to customers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years customer-facing sales experience in freight forwarding and 3PL industry with solid experience in customer acquisition and account management
  • Self-motivated and driven to plan and execute sales generation
  • Excellent organization skills with ability to take initiative and prioritize work, while paying attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
