Warehouse Allrounder - Horsham [Australia]


 

A growing Australian business in Horsham currently have an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Allrounder to join their team. This role is a full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday. To be successful in the position you will be a proactive individual working alongside the local branch staff to drive efficiency within operations of the warehouse.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Loading and unloading stock
  • Picking and packing stock
  • Accurately booking in and booking out items for delivery
  • Maintaining accurate stock control
  • Implementing quality control techniques and procedures
  • Storing and packaging of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures and/or regulations
  • Housekeeping your own work environment
  • Performing periodic stocktakes
  • Using tools and equipment within the warehouse (basic non-trades maintenance)


We are looking for applicants with the following background and skills:
  • Prior experience within a warehouse
  • A current forklift licence isn’t essential but would be highly advantageous
  • Highly organised and results-focused individual that can demonstrate a high care-factor
  • Attention to detail and an awareness of WHS requirements
