A growing Australian business in Horsham currently have an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Allrounder to join their team. This role is a full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday. To be successful in the position you will be a proactive individual working alongside the local branch staff to drive efficiency within operations of the warehouse.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading stock
- Picking and packing stock
- Accurately booking in and booking out items for delivery
- Maintaining accurate stock control
- Implementing quality control techniques and procedures
- Storing and packaging of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures and/or regulations
- Housekeeping your own work environment
- Performing periodic stocktakes
- Using tools and equipment within the warehouse (basic non-trades maintenance)
We are looking for applicants with the following background and skills:
- Prior experience within a warehouse
- A current forklift licence isn’t essential but would be highly advantageous
- Highly organised and results-focused individual that can demonstrate a high care-factor
- Attention to detail and an awareness of WHS requirements
