Centre for Child and Family Science
The appointee will provide support to the project entitled “Intervention and School-based Support for
Dyslexic Students with English Learning Difficulty” and other Centre businesses. He/She will be
responsible for: the organization of academic and public activities, marketing and promotion,
committee work, preparation of different documents, supervision of junior staff, etc. He/she is also
required to assist in managing quality assurance and financial matters, and perform other duties as
assigned. The appointment will be for a period of up to two years, depending on the appointee’s
qualifications and experience.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with several years of post-qualification working
experience in tertiary institutions. They should be self-motivated, meticulous, logical and supportive,
highly proficient in both English and Chinese, and have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
They should also be able to multi-task and work both independently and collaboratively. Those who
value collegiality, quality and accountability will work well in the team.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
For a contract period less than 2 years: Fringe benefits include leave and outpatient medical benefits.
For a 2-year contract: Appointment will be made on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Fringe
benefits include leave, medical and dental benefits.
