The Mulesoft Developer would be responsible for design, development, support, maintenance, and implementation of normal level operational and fault-tolerant integration solutions. You will need to have the ability to work in teams and have a working skillset within the Mulesoft API/ESB platform as well as the soft skills to effectively communicate with clients and peers at varying levels of management
Essential Job Functions
- Develop, build, configure and unit test solutions from low level designs
- Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the design documentation
- Perform all work to agreed time, cost and quality constraints
- Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed and formally documented
- Unit test solutions to ensure they meet quality standards
- IT professional delivering technical expertise in support of Mulesoft API/ESB application
- Design and deliver API integration solutions with internal and external systems including Salesforce, SAP, Work Day and other legacy and cloud-based solutions
- Designing and developing APIs from specification to implementation in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform RAML for third party consumption.
- Experience working with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Proficient with all webservice protocols such as REST/SOAP
- Strong use of source code repositories (Git, BitBucket)
- Experience with agile development practices such as Scrum/Kanban
- Understand and implement secure credential management options and proper encryption practices both in motion and at rest.
- Ensure quality through unit and functional test implementation and execution.
- Participate in and contribute to all phases of the SDLC, including working with DevOps teams to develop end-to-end testing of the solutions and ensure proper monitoring and alerting of the solution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical/non-technical stakeholders to gather and understand the requirements
- Control integration quality and develop ways to detect and correct anomalies with data exchange
- Work with Business Analysts/Project Manager /IT Leads and other stakeholders to understand requirements and help the team establish a technical approach to delivering features that is in line with architectural norms and best practice
- Ensuring compliance to applicable standards ( e.g. ICE, IGM, SOX, other regional and local as appropriate )
Standard Minimimum Requirements
- Education:
Min Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Technology or related IT field
Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT Technology or related IT field
- Experience:
2+ years of experience with MuleSoft
2+ years of experience in integrations, APIs, and microservices architecture
Language
The ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English fluently. Other languages a plus.
