In this role you will be responsible for providing support to the Medicaid department as it relates to ongoing billing and account review for Medicaid accounts. The Medicaid Revenue Coordinator supports the department to include monitoring and tracking of Medicaid accounts receivable, refunds due to plans, billing submission for past due payments, appeals and reconsiderations and other critical projects as assigned.
- Completion of institutional and professional claims.
- Posting of Medicaid payments.
- Reconcile payments with accounts receivable and identify errors made within the billing or accounting process.
- Submission of billing as assigned.
- Tracking and obtaining all MCO authorizations required for billing.
- Completes account audits to ensure accuracy of billing, refunds and write-offs.
Level of Formal Education: Associates degree preferred
Years of Experience: 2-4 years of Medicaid multi-state billing experience.
Type of Experience:
Experience with completion of institutional and professional claims is required.

- Ability to prioritize assigned responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently from remote home office. Must have adequate workspace for computer, monitor and printer from home office.
- Ability to follow instructions, take notes, and produce consistent deliverables timely.
- Ability to analyze an AR Aging and other accounting reports to communicate any concerns to the team.
- Ability to learn and use various systems.
- Ability to reconcile process flow between systems and investigate differences.
- Excel skills required
